Most divorces end in pain, sadness and anger, as many divorced people have a difficult time realising or accepting the fact that the relationship is over. A divorce ceremony isn't legal but its a spiritual way for couples to end their relationship with forgiveness and healing.
This also helps the children to understand that mum and dad have agreed not to live together or love one another any more.
Your ceremony can be held wherever you like - on land or water or in the air (although, I will not bungee jump), As I am a Australian Celebrant, these ceremony must be in Australia or in Australian territorial waters. You may have your ceremony indoors or outside. There are no restrictions as to the time of your ceremony-from dawn to dusk, from sunrise to sunset. This decision is entirely yours.
